Innovative Strategies to Get You Hired

3d cover - Get Hired(version2)You want to start looking for a job, but where do you start? With the news full of  layoffs, a very competitive job marketplace, and hiring freezes this puts a lot of pressure on people looking to enter a seemingly unfriendly job market, doesn’t it? A new book “Tell Stories, Get Hired”, can help ease some job seekers concerns. The book demonstrates how job seekers can leverage personal stories to convince HR managers and recruiters to hire them over their competitors.

As a contributor to the book, I reached out to the author Daisy Wright requesting she share her book with my local community here in Belgium. She was delighted to donate two copies of Tell Stories, Get Hired to our local library.

Daisy collaborated with 17 professionals with varying backgrounds from Canada, the US, England, Belgium, and France to develop this new book resulting in a wealth of collective wisdom, best practices and invaluable strategies.Readers will learn job-hunting techniques to help them share their stories, make an impact, and get hired.

As Daisy explains, “Storytelling is the new job search craze, and job seekers and career changers need to learn how to dig deep, uncover their stories and get hired. While many never thought of storytelling as a job search tool, stories are effective in getting to the heart of a hiring manager.”

If you want to get a head start on your next career, now is the time.  Get your copy of  Tell Stories, Get Hired.
